Banda is a multidisciplinary, design-led property practice based in London. Founded by Edo Mapelli Mozzi in 2007, the company has been a leading luxury residential developer in central London for the past 15 years and now has an award-winning, internationally recognized design studio, delivering some of the finest projects around the world. Banda currently has projects in New York, LA, Miami, Paris, Milan, Dubai, the Alps, Cape Town, New Delhi, and Australia. Banda now employs over 50 talented staff who offer a wide range of services to private clients and development partners, including architecture, interior design, FF&E, and procurement.
The townhouse at 4 Mulberry Square in Belgravia is a prime example of Banda's design approach, blending refined craftsmanship with a mix of old and new. This five-bedroom home is a milestone project for Banda, with artisans from around the world collaborating to tell a story through design. Inspired by the rich history of Chelsea Barracks, a former British Army base, the design combines historical elements with nature and craftsmanship. 
Upon entering 4 Mulberry Square, the sense of space and light is immediate. The mahogany bench by Pierre Augustin Rose, with a braided leather seat, sets the tone for the space. A bronze mirror opposite the bench reflects geometric beauty and floods the room with light. The living room on the ground floor features a custom-designed L-shaped sofa upholstered in Mark Alexander linen, alongside vintage oak furniture. The kitchen on the lower floor is airy and bright, with views of the large private garden. The ‘Pearl’ dining table and the chairs combine art with functionality. Hand-blown glass pendant lights add a delicate, contemporary touch to the space. The spa on the basement level is designed for ultimate relaxation, with four daybeds and an 11-meter swimming pool. The use of natural materials throughout the home fosters a sense of well-being, enhancing the overall design.
A project where craftsmen from around the world were involved to tell a story through design
The townhouse offers spacious living areas, including a dining room, formal living room, and master suite, all infused with a sense of tranquility and luxury. The master suite offers a beautifully designed private sanctuary, while the guest bedrooms exude a playful and elegant atmosphere. The use of both traditional and modern elements creates a harmonious space. 
Situated in the heart of Chelsea Barracks, the property overlooks the lush Mulberry Square and provides a sense of openness and space rarely found in Belgravia. Banda's townhouse is a unique example of refined design, craftsmanship, and luxury living.
