If you are wondering in which interior an angel would feel at home, we know how to provide you with an answer with Laura Calleeuw's new interior. Like a fluffy cocoon, the light-rich interior of her new project radiates positivity and serenity at the same time. Let's dream away together in this divine interior.
If, like us, you love simplicity, luxury and clean lines, knocking on Laura Calleeuw's door is a smart idea. The West Flemish interior designer knows how to magically transform buildings into fantastic pictures by playing with lines, perspectives, and spaciousness. She always finds the right balance so that the whole of her designs radiates tranquillity. Her unbridled creativity can be seen in the various compositions she plays with and in the finishing touch of her designs. With her latest project 'MANOIR', she also hits the mark. Thanks to Calleeuws sensitivity for atmosphere and the narrative aspect of design, she knew exactly what the new inhabitants of the new building in Heusden-Zolder needed: a blissful holiday feeling. And she managed to impeccably convey that atmospehere in the interior.
A soothing colour palette and soft textures
In every room of the property, the luxurious simplicity immediately strikes you. On the one hand, the interior designer creates simplicity by using a soothing colour palette and soft textures. On the other hand, the luxury aspect of the interior is embodied in the choice of materials, each of very high quality. Through this unique mix, the architect incorporates her own 'cozycation' aesthetic into the pre-existing manor style of this fantastic project. She draws the rounded arches that characterise the latter style inside by rounding off the fireplace furniture, among other things. That softness perfectly suits the cosy seating area, accompanied by a fluffy rug. Besides the velvet white sofa made of fine textiles, the designer selected two beautiful designer chairs. The furniture, which runs along the full width of the room, is additionally highlighted by indirect lighting. The rural character of the concept is also accentuated in the kitchen by the greige look. Soft wooden elements such as the bar stools and chairs at the dining table add cachet to the kitchen. The natural stone top on the kitchen island also gives the room a dignified elegance. In addition, the large windows with views into the garden allow the room to breathe completely. The minimalist design is also continued in the bathroom: an austere white double washbasin with matching wooden furniture reveals Calleeuws love for straightforwardness. The open shower area with sophisticated glassware also contributes to this. Finally, the beautiful bathtub gives the entire space the stateliness it deserves.
