Tulum captured the heart of hotelier Yves Naman. In all his travels, he had never come across a place as wild, raw and magically inspiring as there. Consequently, he was so charmed that he decided to create the ultimate boutique hotel experience there. So Naman bought a small beach house and turned it into an 11-room boutique hotel, giving birth to La Valise Tulum. In 2022, the hotel expanded to include 11 additional jungle suites and a luxurious SPA sanctuary on a separate property opposite the beach. La Valise is now an accommodation with two wings, divided between the original beach and the new jungle accommodations. The spa is also located on the jungle side and caters to both hotel guests and external visitors. Upon arrival at La Valise Tulum, guests will be struck by the staff's meticulous attention to detail, which starts at check-in and extends throughout their stay. Amid the lush jungle of Tulum, guests will hear the gentle sound of the Caribbean Sea as they make their way along winding white sand paths to their suites overlooking the ocean or jungle.
