Since the beginning, experimentation has been indispensable for their collections driven by minimalism, but from now on, acting from an environmental consciousness is also at the forefront. Until now, their brand identity contained a rather formal rigor. From now on, this will be deliberately tempered and softened: ideal for the warm minimalism of their designs.
Italian brand MDF Italia was at Salone del Mobile 2024, presenting their outstanding novelties with the general public. From basic geometry, they sought softer impressions and approachable colors. Sometimes the volume may be turned down, their rejuvenated aesthetic seems to want to say. Here we decided to highlight the piece called AR-ARRAY RAY, a sofa system designed by Snøhetta Array. Through its modular approach, the concept points to the flexible uses and comfort it offers. You can use it to try out different configurations, and in addition the construction facilitates the logistics hatch. Furthermore, the collection was created from both micro and macro considerations. The base consists of recycled plastic and minimizes material use. The seat and back areas are made of bio-fame, while an alternative a recycled polyester is also available for the fabric upholstery.
MDF Italia goes beyond aesthetics and function; they embrace a sustainable vision that fits perfectly with their innovative approach. This transition to environmentally conscious designs reflects a deep understanding of today's demand for sustainability. It is a move that not only reduces the environmental footprint of their products, but also redefines the way we experience furniture. This change is visible in every corner of their new collections, where elegance and simplicity go hand in hand with ecological responsibility.
Where elegance and simplicity go hand in hand with ecological responsibility
The AR-ARRAY RAY system exemplifies this philosophy. The versatility of this modular sofa system offers endless possibilities for personal expression and adaptation to different living spaces. This fits perfectly with the modern lifestyle, where flexibility and adaptability are essential. The use of recycled and organic materials highlights MDF Italia's commitment to sustainability without compromising on comfort and design.
