Wim Verhoeven moves at the intersection of technology, ancient knowledge and artistic craftsmanship. After selling his pioneering 3D printing company, he chose to combine his technical expertise with a deep fascination for ancient civilisations and universal patterns. From his home base in Arendonk, he gives a contemporary interpretation of craft with Studio Wim Creations, where precision and natural materials go hand in hand.
The studio's artistic process is steeped in symbolism and meaning. His work often refers to sacred geometry, the Fibonacci sequence and cosmic elements. These themes are not merely decorative, they invite reflection on the connection between man, nature and the universe. In a world where authenticity seems increasingly scarce, the designer considers it his mission to tell stories that stem from universal life experiences. In his studio, he combines traditional materials with innovative techniques. Experience from his 3D printing business and the use of laser cutters give his sculptures a special precision, while wood and lime paint provide a warm, lived-in look. The choice of sustainable materials such as PLA - a biodegradable lactic acid-based plastic - and wood emphasises his respect for nature. This combination of innovation and tradition makes his work an example of conscious, contemporary craftsmanship.
