In Dentergem, where the scent of fresh wood and molten aluminium fills the workshop, the company has been building custom-made windows that transcend generations for over eighty years. L.A. Ramen Lanssens is now in its fifth generation. Adil Lanssens' original workshop has grown into a reference in high-quality exterior joinery, under the management of Gauthier and Ferdy Lanssens. Together with a team of forty craftsmen, they give shape to high-quality windows, doors, shutters and gates.
Every assignment starts with consultation. The client, architect and contractor join the table to coordinate vision, materials and technical requirements. That dialogue is essential to arrive at solutions that are right both visually and functionally. Whether restoring a stately farmstead or finishing a minimalist villa: L.A. Ramen Lanssens' joinery always matches the architecture for which it is intended. 
This precision demands more than just technical insight. The company has an extensive wood arsenal - from oak to afrormosia - and a workshop where craftsmanship and modern technology reinforce each other. The machines are up-to-date, but the craftsman's hand remains decisive. Each piece is unique and every detail is always chosen with care. Some projects even feature hand-forged elements, made by the in-house blacksmith.

Work in the workshop follows classical principles, but without standing still. Aluminium joinery is just as much a speciality of the house today. Technical innovation is also constant: windows with invisible hinges, locking mechanisms with high insulation value, water-based paint, and glass with strong energy performance. The combination of experience and technology makes implementation efficient, flexible and reliable.
Yet wood remains central as an element with character and history. Only wood from sustainably managed forests passes the strict selection. The waste is recovered as a heat source for the buildings, in an installation that meets strict European standards. Here, sustainability is not the end point of a strategy, but a matter of course that grows with the company.
