There should be no compromises on style. For more than fifteen years, Chrisma has been involved in building exclusive villa’s, outstanding interiors, and unburdening clients with total renovations. Your home is the foundation for the largest part of your memories, so each element should be completely in line with your wishes. Their reliable range of services has been the start of a new chapter for many, as well as for the residents of the property that we are highlighting today.
It is a true skill to preserve your calm with large-scale changes, but with the right support on your side it almost becomes easy. Since 2007, the team at Chrisma has been working non-stop to realise interior dreams. The overview of successful commissions has no end, and recently there is a new home that joins the list. With project Tulpenlaan, they present a modern villa that is covered in a warm coat that flirts with minimalism. No shortage of ambience here, because sandy tones prolong the summer feeling just that much longer, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed from beginning to end. In the central living area, an island sofa flaunts a sea of seating space, finished with striped decorative pillows. Impossible to miss is the presence of wood. An entire wall and several loose pieces are made of it and form a successful sum with the lighter colours. Through an arched doorway, residents access the dining room, with the kitchen neatly adjoining. All zones of the common area are ideal to have social moments. At the same time, the intentional interior avoids an abundance of commotion and triggers, because of which each day becomes an experience of homely calm.
The daily grind finds variety in the joy of now
It is no coincidence that the design reminds you of a holiday destination since the team truly had the beach in mind when working out this concept. Thanks to the large windows, you also enjoy an optimal light incidence, and the design looks extra bright. Next to the logical quality of all the materials used and the methodology, this project really is an example of intentional living. Here, the daily grind finds variety in the joy of now. Cosy cooking sessions, relaxing while watching a film, entertaining conversations and quiet hobbies were given the ideal setting for a conscious experience. In this home, everyday counts. In a world where digital resources play a prominent role, the team decided to make books part of the interior in several places. Consequently, the whole comes out stronger as an incentive for mental calm. The bed- and bathrooms incessantly build further on the same aesthetic. Again, an excess of decoration was avoided at all costs. Instead, a continuous tranquillity reigns which the outdoor world cannot access. Different natural textures, on all floors, elevate the purity of the concept on top of this. Here in Belgium, Chrisma again presents a convincing villa project. Residents and visitors witness a hint of vacation all year round. Visually tempering the palettes and intentionally decorating are a fruitful illustration of the importance of having your own oasis where you decide the rhythm. May they realise many more inspiring ideas in the future!
