Caroline Andréoni Design Interieur is synonymous with elegance, sophistication, and a seamless balance between heritage and modernity. Every project emerging from their creative studio embodies the client’s desires while respecting the architectural potential of the space. With an exceptional eye for detail and a strong focus on bespoke design, Andréoni creates interiors that are not only visually striking but also functionally optimized for everyday life. This philosophy is beautifully reflected in the prestigious Solferino project, an impressive renovation in the heart of Paris.
Located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, the 220m² Solferino apartment underwent a transformation that pays homage to its Haussmannian architecture while integrating subtle contemporary touches. The goal? To refine the existing volumes, maximise natural light, and craft an interior that seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetic harmony. Upon entering, the entrance hall immediately sets the tone: deep bordeaux hues cover the walls, while custom-built cabinetry ensures a practical yet elegant layout. A refined bench, upholstered in exclusive fabrics from Pierre Frey and Elitis, adds both comfort and character. However, the true highlight is the colorful Art Deco stained-glass window overlooking the courtyard, creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow. To the right, original wooden doors lead to the kitchen and dining area, preserving the apartment’s historical charm. One of the renovation’s key aspects was redefining the kitchen as the heart of the home.

By removing the partition between the kitchen and dining room, the space was opened up to create a fluid and inviting living area. Here, the interior studio opted for a minimalist yet warm design: black brushed basalt oak structures the kitchen island and cabinetry, while a soft sage-green accent wall introduces a refreshing contrast. A clever design choice is the hidden laundry space concealed behind a cabinet door, seamlessly integrating technical areas without disrupting the overall aesthetic. The dining area is completed with a spacious table and chairs from the Caroline Andréoni La Maison collection, contributing to a harmonious and welcoming ambiance. The living room exudes Parisian elegance, with beautifully restored ceiling moldings and original fireplaces serving as focal points. A custom-built walnut bookshelf merges aesthetics with functionality, and its rounded design subtly bridges the transition between the living and reception areas. This thoughtful detail exemplifies Andréoni’s ability to create seamless spatial connections. In the master bedroom, tranquility is achieved through a handcrafted, understated headboard structure that adds both definition and elegance. Bespoke wooden bedside tables and an integrated library reinforce the room’s warm and serene ambiance. A discreet archway leads to the en-suite bathroom, where soft pink hues and terrazzo merge into a refined color palette. The vanity unit, framed in wood, creates a natural visual transition within the space. A T-shaped dressing room allows for an optimal layout, providing each resident with their own designated area. For the home office, the studio opted for a deep petrol-blue ceiling, accentuating the carefully restored moldings. The natural grain of the wooden bookshelves introduces an organic touch, resulting in a well-balanced and inspiring workspace.
After a year of meticulous renovations, the Solferino apartment now radiates a perfect balance between historical heritage and contemporary refinement. With this project, Caroline Andréoni Design Interieur once again demonstrates its signature approach: timeless elegance, innovative spatial organization, and an unwavering dedication to detail. More than just a living space, this apartment is a bespoke masterpiece where functionality and aesthetics exist in perfect harmony.
