A residence that draws in its surroundings is always a great success. That is also the case in 15 Inn house, a farm whose private area was recently renovated by Okyo. We are very happy to show you more of the interior.
Okyo is run from Beringen, Belgium by Jochen Magyar and unites Jochen Magyar Interior Architects Studio and Magyar Interior Construction. In this way, total projects can be offered. Together, they develop beautiful high-end interiors that we have already written about several times. The studio wants to create elegant designs that are both functional and respond to your emotions. There is always much attention for subtle details and the use of warm materials. 15 Inn house is a long gable farm in Olmen that was renovated by the studio. The residence has four spacious guest rooms, a large entrance, a beautiful kitchen, and an impressive garden, which all guarantee a successful stay. 15 Inn house is a wonderful bed and breakfast, but there is also the opportunity to organise parties, seminars, and meetings. The rural surroundings are an important extra asset. Okyo renovated the host and hostess’s private area. The job included the kitchen, which had to be further expanded, the living room, the office, and the stairs. The studio was also responsible for the floor works, in which authentic tiles were reused, the renewal of the electricity with its lighting fixtures, the smoked oak, and Italian marble.
Interestingly, the rural character is continued in the interior
Moreover, the kitchen gives a very open feeling. The colour play between light and dark brings a beautiful harmony throughout the residence. The large kitchen island with integrated table is the eyecatcher in the room. Interestingly, the rural character is continued in the interior, for instance by the wooden beams on the ceiling and the baked clay tiles for the floors. The raw fireplace immediately ensures a cosy atmosphere.
This rural farm was successfully renovated by Okyo and is now a cosy residence that combines comfort and sleek design. Want to get enchanted by more impressive projects and inspiring architecture?
