In picturesque Erpe-Mere lies the new show home, Terracotta Touched, designed by talented interior designer Laura Calleeuw. This project embodies the essence of sophisticated interior design and architectural ingenuity, with the name ‘Terracotta Touched’ subtly referring to the harmonious integration of natural stone, art and interior textiles.
From the early stages of the building application to the final realisation, Laura Calleeuw played a crucial role in shaping this home. Her involvement in drawing up the architectural plans enabled her to precisely match the space layout to both the exterior and interior environments. This created a smooth transition between inside and outside, with many glazed areas on the ground floor maximising natural light and sightlines. The design of Terracotta Touched fits seamlessly with LC Interior Design's signature style: timeless, serene, warm and minimalist. The strength of the design lies in its simplicity and refinement of craftsmanship, with an eye for the smallest details. Hidden doors and cabinets, bronze accents in handles and lighting, and seamless integration of functional elements such as sockets and built-in lighting, create a harmonious whole.
Functional elements are aesthetically concealed, contributing to the minimalist look of the home. This is reflected, for example, in the custom-made furniture pieces and the layout of the rooms, where a lot of functional storage space is centrally tucked away. This avoids cluttered corners and creates a flowing, seamless interior. The chosen materials and colour palette of Terracotta Touched contributes to the timeless and serene atmosphere of the home. The natural stone plays a central role in this, serving as inspiration for further refinement in art, decorative cushions, and decorative finishes. The clean lines and warm, minimalist approach create a calm and inviting living environment.
As a viewing home, Terracotta Touched serves as an inspiration for future residents seeking an innovative, yet timeless home. In today's busy society, this home offers a haven where one can unwind and escape from the daily hustle and bustle for a while. In addition, the project shows the possibilities of collaboration with villa builder Dumobil, and the versatility of just a few high-quality materials in various applications.

Terracotta Touched emphasises the importance of early collaboration between all parties involved. Working together from the outset creates a thoughtful and harmonious whole, whose added value can be felt by every visitor and user. Laura Calleeuw and her team thus demonstrate not only their design expertise, but also the power of integral cooperation in the building process. In Terracotta Touched, craftsmanship, creativity and functionality come together in an inspiring and informative whole that perfectly reflects LC Interior Design's vision. This project is a testament to how well-thought-out design can lead to a timeless and serene living environment, where every detail has been carefully considered and executed."
