Marion Stora's passion for sailing and art originated in her childhood. Born with a love of the sea and a keen eye for aesthetics, she soon discovered that her heart lay with interior design. Attracted by the Bauhaus ideals and functionalism of the UAM, she started her architecture studies, but soon realised that her true calling lay in interior design.
After graduating from Penninghen in Paris in 2006, Marion embarked on an inspiring career. She spent four exciting years working with renowned interior designers in London, where she had the opportunity to refine her skills and expand her creative horizons. Back in Paris, she entered into a fruitful collaboration with Remi Tessier, leading to two iconic yacht projects. Here, she discovered the complexity and beauty of designing yacht interiors, which further shaped her artistic vision. In 2011, Marion decided to open her own studio, determined to express her universe and broaden her scope of work. Initially working solo, commuting between Paris and London, her studio soon grew into a dynamic team, supported by her husband Didier. Whether it's a contemporary villa in Cascais, Portugal, a Victorian house in London, or a minimalist flat in northern Europe, each of Marion's projects is a bespoke one that reflects her clients' unique needs.
Marion's style is a fusion of rigour and warmth, precision and vibrancy. Her love for natural materials such as hand-woven fabrics, raw hides, and wood, combined with harmonious lines, creates interiors that breathe modernism. Inspired by designers such as Pierre Chapo, Paavo Tynell, and Gino Sarfatti, she brings together traditional skills and contemporary design.

Her participation in the "Jardins Jardin" fair at the Tuileries in Paris highlighted her dedication to art and craft. For this occasion, she designed a beautiful bed with an embroidered headboard, a tribute to Vermont ateliers. This project marked her as an active participant in the revival of arts and crafts. In her creations, such as the organic dining table and elegant chairs, Marion combines the skills of talented artisans with her own artistic vision. Her designs, from Mauro Mori's sculptural table base to Pierre Bonnefille's tabletops crafted with natural pigments, demonstrate her eye for detail and quality. Marion Stora's home, which she shares with her husband Didier and their son, reflects her warm and elegant style. The Parisian Left Bank flat is an oasis of calm, filled with bespoke furniture, vintage pieces, and lush green compositions. Here, the family's musicality comes alive, both in the piano that sounds in the evening and in the colours and materials that adorn each room. Marion Stora continues to create lived-in interiors that tell the stories of their inhabitants, each piece a work of art in itself, each home a harmonious symphony of colour, form and function.
