Britt Van Namen, a passionate interior designer, is characterized by minimalist simplicity and attention to refined details, creating unique and personalized spaces. Listening to and understanding the living spaces of her clients is at the core of Van Namen's approach. She translates their deepest desires and dreams into tailor-made designs, resulting in projects that stand out and offer an endless interior experience.
In the most recent project, a century-old farmhouse, despite challenging aspects, the emphasis was on fulfilling the clients' wishes. They desired an additional living space that would be actively used. A steel column in the middle of the space was transformed into a custom-made cabinet, logically dividing the space into a sitting area with a television and sound system, and a separate dining room. This gave each space its own atmosphere. The original wrought-iron doors, which separated the home office from the living space, were replaced with blind doors. These were moved to isolate the kitchen from the living area. The new spaces were added as an extra feature, with plenty of light and a pleasant connection to the garden, especially designed for enjoyment in the summer. Several favorite aspects of the end result should not go unmentioned. The intermediate space, connecting the living area with the entrance hall, received an eccentric and mysterious character with green lime technique on both walls and ceilings. Another striking eyecatcher is the natural stone, forming the backdrop for wine bottles that can be placed on steel tubes.

The common thread in her works is the unity between light, form, and space, where the use of the right materials and refined details elevates the designs to a higher level. She has a preference for natural stone, especially marble, because of the unique artworks that each stone represents. Additionally, she cherishes a fondness for microtopping, a material that feels natural and has a calming presence. From total projects, including high-end renovations, to interior advice and designs of various scales, Britt Van Namen guides the entire process from A to Z. Her role as the sole point of contact streamlines the design process and execution.
The harmony of this project is fully realized as all fabrics and materials are meticulously coordinated down to the smallest detail, resulting in seamless integration during the finishing and delivery of loose furniture.
