This timeless whitewashed villa is located in a beautiful setting close to greenery. You have a beautiful view that allows you to completely unwind. The residents wanted a new house with open spaces, where both the connection with the different rooms among themselves and the connection with the garden were very important. Moreover, they loved the magnolia in the garden and wanted to be able to enjoy it at all times. Furthermore, the house had to have its own identity and be timeless, but make a statement at the same time. This villa in Wilrijk, Belgium, demonstrates what Oscar V has to offer, ranging from their characteristic signature, to the detailed execution with a high level of finishing, to complete care for the occupant. 
Residences with a timeless and authentic signature
Inside, the serenity and natural ambience are continued. Once again, the home was decorated in a very sophisticated way, thus perfectly representing what you can expect from the total provider: cosiness, elegance and a luxurious aesthetic. "As with all our projects, we designed this home to suit the client and integrated typical Oscar V features, such as open structures, high ceilings and doors, and vertical and horizontal see-through axes. For example, there is an axis running through the dressing room through which you enter the bedroom with adjacent bathroom, giving an optimal hotel feel. Maximum contact with the garden was important, as this creates complete tranquillity in the house," says the team. The interior became a mix of classic but timeless and individualistic elements with a high level of finishing. Furthermore, the living space is enveloped in a warm and natural palette of colours and materials such as wood in the oak parquet, veneered tailoring and black stained oak. Even more natural materials can be found in the understated bathroom, where a natural stone and microtopping were opted for. There is also a sleek kitchen island that is nicely balanced with the bouclé chairs. Natural light plays a big role in Oscar V's homes and here too, the designer brought daylight in as much as possible throughout the villa. The use of soft and neutral tones and natural materials, such as oak and natural stone, is a common thread throughout the house. A light white tone was chosen for the walls, thus allowing light to play a central role in the house. Only the steel spotlights and cupboard doors are black, bringing warmth to the oak elements.
