The projects of interior designer Laura Calleeuw are always admired by Imagicasa. The recent renovation of this presbytery house is no exception. Today, we would like to put this project in the spotlight.
Our loyal partner Laura Calleeuw creates high-end interiors with her eponymous studio. Simplicity, luxury, and serenity are the hallmarks of her designs. In her projects, she constantly plays with perspectives, proportions, lines, and spatiality. Calleeuw always starts from the wishes and needs of the client, which she then fills with her own endless creativity. The results are personalised interiors where aesthetics, functionality, and personality come together. Her design language is clearly recognisable in her most recent project, in which she was allowed to furnish a detached presbytery house. 
The typical mansion atmosphere continues to shine through.
The interior designer wanted to preserve the charming elements of the house, such as the original fireplace wall, moulding, wall panelling and staircase. These were given their own timeless character by painting them in decorative techniques. This created a beautiful coherence in the interior, as well as an atmosphere of peace and serenity. The layout of the house was also largely preserved, as it is also visible in the (exterior) architecture. However, the living kitchen, scullery, and office were placed on the garden side and completely rearranged. The studio made large openings in order to create greater spaciousness, without affecting the existing character of the house. Thus, old and new come together harmoniously in the interior. In addition, the house has been provided with different seating areas, each of which serves a separate function and has been adapted accordingly. For example, the breakfast corner is oriented towards the garden, the aperitif corner is next to the living room at the bar cabinet, and so on. 
In short, the whole interior is soft and timeless, but the typical mansion atmosphere still shines through. Another successful project that Laura Calleeuw can proudly add to her portfolio.
