- Interior
This serene Moscow flat, dressed in a soft and monochrome palette of neutral colours and warm materials, was designed by the design studio Sver Studio. They made the most of the space and created an open, cosy and warm home.
Sver Studio is a Russian interior design studio founded in 2020 by architect Olga Tsarevskaya. Her sense of detail and a neutral colour palette combined with different material textures form the basis of her realisations. The architect seeks the perfect match for every project. The flat, appropriately named Dream Apartment, in a neo-classical style of about 100 square metres is a good example of this. The flat is located in the historic centre of Moscow in a new residential complex away from the hustle and bustle. The marble facade, decorated with columns and bas-reliefs, immediately gives you a warm welcome. The new residents, a couple with taste and often found in gastronomic tourism, already have several flats in Europe. These art lovers have an impressive collection of paintings and works of art that will fit perfectly into the flat.
The interior is warm, light and invites you to relax.
The client's main wish was to choose a monochrome palette without any bright colour accents. Avoiding the visual noise, which they already experience enough at work, was of great importance to the clients. The challenge for Sver Studio was to create a comfortable and relaxing living space filled with air, light and neutral colours such as beige, milky white and coffee shades to give the interior warmth and comfort. Not for nothing that this project was called ‘Cappuccino’ behind the scenes. For the interior design, Tsarevskaya resolutely opted for natural materials. Wood, travertine, brass, tactile upholstery, textured walls and fluted friezes rule here. Since the couple likes to host diners and cook, the kitchen was transformed into an open and light living space with a spacious dining table and a lounge area with a travertine element as an accent. Ideal for a cosy dinner with friends. The interior is otherwise light, calm and invites to relax, it’s not overloaded with details and colour and is still sensitive to the needs of those who want to find peace and quiet in this flat. Every corner of this beautiful home has been designed with great thoughtfulness, self-sufficiency and harmony.
