- Interior
This stand-alone residence by architect Yves Van Neck in Mol is modern and built with all the needs and wishes of the residents in mind, both on the outside and inside. The exterior of black brick and white plaster does not reveal much of the interior. The privacy of the residents is thus preserved. And yet, when you enter the house, you bathe in a sea of light and space.

Moreover, Duotecno provided the house with the very latest home automation, although at first sight you won’t notice it. After all, the company is a master at implementing all kinds of technical gadgets and automatic systems in a very stylish way that does not interrupt the classy character of the home. Burt Eeckhout, manager of Duotecno, says: "This house is a very nice story, because it shows in its entirety what home automation is capable of today.” Lighting is a first important fact. For example, the owner can easily control all dimming protocols via his smartphone. The integration of audio and video also reaches a high level here, including a multiroom system to play music in all rooms and home cinema where a high-end Integra amplifier is used with KEF speakers for the ultimate cinema experience.

The house has a fully equipped wellness area that is also connected to the home automation system of Duotecno. Thus, the steam cabin from the house can already be activated, the shutter of the pool can be opened and closed and even the lighting and temperature can be controlled remotely.
Many functions that will undoubtedly make your life easier so you have more time for the fun things. And when you leave the house for a while, everything is in safe hands of the high-tech anti-burglary system. Burt Eeckhout tells us exactly how this works: "When someone rings the door, the system takes four photos and sends them to the owner who receives a notification on his smartphone or tablet, or via the touchscreen in the kitchen. This is of course extremely useful when you are not at home. Moreover, we work with personalized coded keys, so that the owners can easily enter the house. In or out, you’ll have nothing to worry about!
