- Interior
At Yerse, interior design studio Isern Serra has created a space that is not only functional but also exudes a sense of home. The store combines elements of work and play, such as decking, benches and grids, with refined cabinets finished in walnut. This combination of materials and shapes emphasises femininity through the soft curves and organic movements in the design.
Inspired by 1960s Barcelona architecture, the store seeks to convey a sense of homeliness and warmth. The design elements are carefully aligned with Yerse's brand identity, where femininity is reflected by combining natural materials with organic shapes that bring elegance to the space. Upon entering, visitors are enveloped by the warmth characteristic of Mediterranean style. The presence of vegetation, exposed bricks and a large mirror creates a homely atmosphere, as if you were standing in the hall of a house. The entrance to the store leads you through wooden and microcement pedestals, which form a path that brings the visitor into the interior in a continuous and fluid manner. These platforms form the basis of a series of semi-designed hangers to display garments on. Iron bars form pure and organic geometries consistent with Yerse's elegant and feminine principles.
Yerse is not only a store, but also a showcase of Barcelona's creativity
The central area of the shop feels like the living room of a house, where visitors are engulfed by warmth and comfort. This is achieved by furniture that you may expect in a private home, such as wooden tables and shelves displaying books and accessories. Iconic pieces by local designers, such as lamps by Santa & Cole and curtains made of natural cotton, enhance the feeling of a cosy and sophisticated space. The store's counter design is characterised by curves and organic movements that symbolise femininity and pay homage to women. This piece, finished in walnut wood and marble, gives the space a delicate and elegant feel. Every part of the shop is designed to exude warmth and comfort, using architectural and decorative elements reminiscent of a Mediterranean home. Yerse is not only a store, but also a showcase of Barcelona's creativity. Collaborations with local artists, designers and brands such as Ariadna Puig Domenech, Valeria Vasi and Santa & Cole make the store a meeting place for Mediterranean tradition and modern creativity. At the back, arches frame the tasting room, where a large mirrored wall gives a sense of safety and continuity. Every part of the concept exudes warmth and comfort, inspired by the local architecture of the 1960s. The integration of local materials, complemented by pieces by local artists, and the use of organic shapes perfectly reflect the essence of the women's clothing brand Yerse. The result is a delicate and elegant environment that embraces the soul of Barcelona and makes the love for the city palpable in every corner.
