The summer may be officially over, but we still dream of those wonderfully warm days and we are already looking forward to next year. But even in autumn or during a nice late summer you can still perfectly enjoy pleasant days in your garden, especially if you have a nice outdoor lounge or veranda. Our partner 't Huis van Oordeghem (HVO) is THE specialist in furnishing such spaces. So dress warmly and go outside with Imagicasa and HVO to relax in their lovely (outdoor) furniture.
Are you looking for inspiration for a beautiful lounge in your garden or veranda or do you just want to dream away at sunny images? Then this is the place for you. We are happy to inspire you today with the beautiful 'Villa G42' project by HVO. Karen Vanslambrouck from HVO tells us more about the decoration of the outdoor areas. "The lady of the house is a spontaneous woman who clearly loves beautiful things," she says. Like Imagicasa, she loved HVO's style and approach and was therefore happy to come to them. After twenty years, it was time for a breath of fresh air to blow through the garden, and that's exactly what the designers did.
"So it was up to us to create a fun, but above all cosy and stylish place where everyone feels immediately welcome"
For HVO, it is important to get to know the customer and to design something that fits them perfectly. They immediately realised that this was a close family that loves conviviality and being together. "I also noticed that the house and everything around it is in good taste and that everything was taken care of with respect for authenticity and without being afraid of an innovative or surprising element. Art also leaves a clear mark here," says Karen. These are all elements that were taken into account in the design. "So it was up to us to create a fun, but above all cosy and stylish place where everyone feels immediately welcome," says Karen. That's why she opted for certain large elements that are meant to remain standing at all times and thus immediately dress up the room. These were combined with other pieces that are easy to move around and that can be moved where necessary. All this always with an eye for the greater picture. "The connection between the different places and the furniture is often in the details. Wood is very present and often recurs, but also in the colour and finish of the cushions there is a common thread, or rather a black one," explains Karen. "The house has beautiful typical shutters and windows, and even here and there a striped pattern to finish a gate or door. We brought this back in the decorative cushions. The sand-coloured seat cushions also contain a black speckle." Inside, the natural elements such as the wicker chair fit in nicely with the work of Belgian Denis Meyers and Eric Ceccarini.
"Respect for authenticity without being afraid of an innovative or surprising element"
A top project that once again shows the talent and know-how of 't Huis van Oordeghem. It is a wonderful result to be proud of. "Sometimes all the pieces of the puzzle fit together perfectly and we can only be grateful that we were able to be part of it," Karen adds.
