The right carpet can take an interior to a whole other level. Every carpet of Armadillo does so, because all their creations perfectly hit the mark. Today Imagicasa introduces you to their Heirloom Collection.
Since 2009, Armadillo produces tapestries where sustainability is always woven into the end result. The company is on a mission to counter throwaway-culture and to make carpets that effortlessly stand the test of time. They do this by solely using natural materials and following an energy-efficient process, for example by always working by hand. Considering that Armadillo’s philosophy aligns with slow living, they want their carpets to make everyone’s living experience more conscious and healthier by developing a more sustainable rhythm. Moreover, Armadillo has received the B Corp label because they follow the highest standards regarding sustainability, transparency and social responsibility. In addition, they have their own foundation that aims to improve the living circumstances of underprivileged communities. At the moment, customers of Armadillo can enjoy four different collections. Among these is the Heirloom Collection, which is hundred percent handmade as well. The carpets in question consist of extremely fine hand knots that were incorporated into a deeply carved plush. This qualitative material reflects the lights and makes that the rugs feel sumptuously soft and exude a desirable luxury. The designs refrain from loud colours and busy patterns; instead, they show a visual reluctance that does not overpower the rest of the interior. Like all other products of Armadillo, the Heirloom Collection guarantees enjoyment for several generations. Namely, the carpets last for many years without deteriorating in quality or appearance. On the contrary, with this collection you are assured flooring that over the years proves its value time and again.

The Heirloom Collection has five different types of rugs, of which Odessa is the first. This design is made from soft Afghan wool and has an interesting pattern that reminds of stone. Customers who choose Odessa have a choice of four colours. The second type was given the name Egyptian. Here jute is abrasively over-dyed until a hue is created that subtly changes depending on the light. This design shows a discrete luxury and is available in five colours. Moreover, the collection has the Paragon-carpet that was inspired by the jagged lines of crystals, rocks and shells. The design resembles the accumulation of different layers of sediments and has four colour variations. The fourth rug was named Agra. This model was based on old Persian carpentry and is made from hand-spun wool. With their clear colours they give each interior a timeless elegance, and they do so in no less than twelve colours. The final type of rug in the collection is Persian. These Persian knotted rugs consist of New Zealand wool and are the ideal refinement for your living room or bedroom. You can find this carpet in two colours. If you are looking for a carpet that will last for years, is of the highest quality and adds a great luxury factor to an interior, you should definitely take a look at the Heirloom Collection of Armadillo. Due to their responsible materials and working method, their selection promises a durable floor covering that looks magnificent.
