Your home is a place where entering always feels familiar and stimulating at once; where you meet an atmosphere that welcomes you with open arms every time. This home in New York City, USA lives up to that description to the letter. With a relaxing feel and a calm neutrality, the project is fully in line with what the residents had in mind.
This interior was designed by SISSY+MARLEY Interiors, founded by Chelsea Reale and Diana Rice. As in all previous projects, they joined forces to deliver a fantastic result to the clients who came to them. In this case, it concerned a couple with a busy life who travel frequently. To get the most out of their living experience, they wanted an interior that would welcome them and allow them to relax. This was primarily achieved by using light colours and letting in lots of natural light. Different shades of white not only create a calming tone, but also make the rooms appear larger. This palette is reinforced with organic textiles, so that the whole remains dynamic and interesting. In addition, the duo used leather and brass, among other materials, with the intention of evoking a feeling of luxury.

In this project, there was a nice surface area to work with, namely 158 square metres. These are divided into an open living room, a dining area, a kitchen and three bedrooms, among other things. Thanks to the relaxed atmosphere, the spaces form a coherent whole that the couple can enjoy coming home to time and again. According to them, what they really wanted was to enter a dreamy boutique hotel and call it home. The studio has fully satisfied that wish; the lovely images immediately make it clear that you are entering an interior with a pure but high-end feel.
