High-end furniture brand and family business Edra stands for pure Italian excellence. Here, we are giving you a glimpse of how their Italian elegance and design take an interior to a whole new level. In this project, Brazilian designer Daniela Saliba created a cosy home where functionality, originality and comfort are central. 
With Daniela Saliba Studio, she creates versatile projects with a mix of different elements, shapes, patterns and palettes with a flexible style. Her unique interiors are defined by originality, personality and a hint of Brazilian charm. Her background namely has a certain influence on her designs. ‘It evokes a lot of my inspiration for materials, colours, references and textures and most of the time it comes naturally. Brazilian culture is so extraordinarily rich and I'm proud to be able to leave some traces of it in what I do.’ Brazilians value living in a comfortable and cosy home and that is what Saliba strives for in her interiors. ‘Their lifestyle and the way they see their home, from the simplest to high-end families, is what inspires me the most.’
Functionality, originality and comfort are central.
According to Saliba, all spaces can be attractive. Any house can become a real home, special and unique with creativity and good taste. The designer turns her projects into interior gems one by one. ‘I love that by transforming spaces, I can change the whole atmosphere, create memories and make dreams come true. I really feel satisfied when I see my clients living happily in the spaces I've created,’ she says. 
Near Miami in Florida we find one of Daniela Saliba's beautiful realisations. The eclectic home is filled with art, texture and colour with as one of the highlights the 'Standard' sofa of Edra designed by Francesco Binfaré. With simple comfort and flexibility as its main features, this beautiful piece of furniture perfectly represents the intention and atmosphere of the entire apartment. The house has been given a cosy and elegant interior that is both functional and original at the same time. Saliba tells us more about the transformation of this apartment in an exclusive interview.
‘Because the client was a young single woman, she wanted a very casual style and a large and spacious living room. The original living room and dining area were therefore combined to one single space with an extra pop out bench for extra seating when necessary. One of the client’s main priorities was comfort and that is where the Edra sofa came in. By combining a unique shape and a design that unites style and sophistication, it was promptly approved and fit perfectly as part of the new living room’s layout. Edra is always a good choice. They have original and pretty collections that prioritise maximum comfort,’ explains Saliba.
