- Interior
The Russian design studio Sver created this design for a young family with three children. They travel extensively to exotic destinations for inspiration and have developed their own style. They like a cosy and comfortable atmosphere in their interior, and have a preference for eco-style and wabi-sabi elements.
With this style, the studio went to work and created an eco-theme. This is an exact reflection of the inner spirit of the clients and their desire to live in an atmosphere that reminds them of distant lands and beautiful travels. Therefore, various natural colours and materials recur in the design, such as linen, wood, stone, and rattan. There are also uneven surfaces on textured, plastered walls and on furniture. The living room, kitchen and dining area take up the most space in the apartment. This is because the owners like to cook and spend their time together. In the kitchen, there is a small but functional island. Furthermore, this room was complemented by a large kitchen table made of travertine. In the living room, the curved accent on the wall is the eye-catcher, along with the spectacular panoramic window. This provides plenty of daylight and is, in fact, also a decorative element in this room.

For peace and quiet, the bedroom is the place to be. Thanks to the walls and ceilings covered in decorative plaster, a sense of serenity comes over you. On the wall behind the headboard, there is a three-dimensional drawing in the form of arches, representing the shape of the alcoves. The alcoves serve not only as decorative elements, but also as storage space. Furthermore, in the room you will find a kind of balcony; here there is both a small work area and some space for relaxation thanks to the armchair, where you can sit down with a book and recover from the hustle and bustle. The only colours in the house are found in the children's room. The headboards and fronts of the storage cabinets are made of rattan, and authentic handmade objects appear as decoration of the room.
In general, the interior is light, original, soothing, consistent in style and not overloaded with colour and unnecessary details. Sver Studio was able to bring the atmosphere of distant travels to the client's interior. Visuals by Grigoriy Obolenskiy
