American Noah Walker is based in Los Angeles, United States, with his company Walker Workshop. It is also there where the architect, in collaboration with his team, has created an exceptional home for real estate developer Viewpoint Collection.
The Carla Ridge House is located in the hills of Los Angeles on a plot of no less than 20,000 square feet and provides maximum views of the city. The design consists of two wings and a body. This body contains an entrance, the dining room and the kitchen. In all three rooms, large windows provide panoramic views, and let that be one of the biggest assets in this house. The widely known Hollywood Sign, the Griffith Observatory and the hills of Los Angeles, they are all part of the impressive view.
Concrete and wood give this house a sophisticated feel.
A connecting room on the roof of the body connects the left and right wings but can also be used practically. Here again, there is an abundance of space that can be used as a terrace, garden or simply a place for the residents to entertain themselves. In addition, of course, a swimming pool cannot be missed. Space for this infinity pool was provided over a length of more than 25 meters. The use of concrete combined with high quality wood finally gives this house a sophisticated feel.
