- Interior
This duplex apartment in Knokke-Zoute was renovated, but not without the expertise of De Maatwerker. Here in Project BD, their experienced team took care of the design and the choice of materials. This happened with a strong vision that leaves no room to doubt the value that the firm left for its clients. With a feel that connects all the spaces to each other, the result is an inviting whole that fits its environment perfectly.
Perfection is always the goal that De Maatwerker is working towards. This case was no exception, and when looking at the beautiful imagery you will surely also be convinced of this. The light interior allows the sea breeze to almost blow inside. To ensure that there would at all times be peace in the apartment, the team only used one colour of wood over the entire line. For the parquet and the staircase wood from Woodstoxx was chosen, with which an oak veneer was perfectly aligned. The warmth of the brown stain contains an inherent cosiness that brings out the best of each season. Furthermore, the pleasant atmosphere is strengthened by the lime technique of Maison Painture that was applied on many of the walls. In the kitchen, a wooden wall is joined by white varnish and natural stone. The latter also appears in the living area, where it creates longitude and connection by continuing in the first step of the stairs. The bathrooms build further upon the materials we are already accustomed to in the other rooms, but also add Mortex. Not only the beach is a perfect place to unwind; project BD has a chance that is at least as strong to calm your mind. The spacious living area allows many types of scenarios, ranging from blissful evenings alone to amusing dinner parties with company. This place does not only involve passionate designing, but also passionate living. Looking out on the local minigolf, here you are totally immersed in the charm of Knokke-Zoute. The lightness and open feel create a fresh eye in the day and a luxurious warmth at night.
