- Interior
The beautiful Aurora residence is shrouded in neutral colours and materials so that serenity is central. The sober palette serves as the perfect backdrop for some unique and special decorative details and furniture. A fine example of interior design by design studio Koolasuchus of Photonic.
This fantastic project is a realisation of the Australian interior design studio Koolasuchus and creative studio Photonic. Photonic is specialised in creating CG images, architectural concepts and spatial design. They create the most beautiful and realistic 3D images. Koolasuchus is the company branch within this studio that specialises in design. The designers use Photonic's 3D image technology to create beautiful spaces, including the Aurora residence. Aspects such as composition, light and space drive every image and interior design in the studio. "We envision spaces as a series of photographs, driven by an architectural narrative, and determined by composition (the relationship between elements),” we hear. The brief for this design was to create a space that embodies a calm and understated luxury. And that is the exact definition we would give to this design. The interior is mainly shrouded in beige and a few shades of grey and was given a minimalist design. The spaces are purified and because there is little furniture and decorative objects present, each piece used is a true eye-catcher or important decorative element. This is something Koolasuchus often applies in their designs. They are inspired and directed by object design. ‘A specific piece of furniture, lighting, sculpture or artwork can be the “lightbulb moment” that initiates our work. Composition of objects is integral to the photographic nature of architectural visualisation, and thus it follows that it is often the objects within our interiors that determine the project.’

In this way, your eye immediately catches the special sculptural mirror-polished aluminium 'Reverb' chair by Brodie Neill. Another beautiful and unique used chair, which was actually the starting point of this interior design, is the 'Achilles Chair' with brass block by Pool Studio. For the design of the kitchen, the studio was even inspired by none other than the Belgian architect and good friend of Imagicasa Dieter Vander Velpen.
In this beautiful Aurora residence, all the furniture and decorative elements are in perfect harmony with each other. The whole forms a serene oasis of calm, subdued luxury. All Photography/CGI credits: Photonic Studio
