Inspired by the eighteenth century 'slipper chair' and Scandinavian design, GamFratesi created a low, deep armchair that finds a place in every interior.
The Sejour Lounge Chair was designed by GamFratesi for GUBI. Created in 2006, GamFratesi Studio is made up of Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The international duo designs for GUBI, a Danish company that produces and sells furniture, lighting and interior objects. The Lounge Chair is available through their website. GUBI decided that it is a good addition to GamFratesi's gracious furniture already in stock.

The 'slipper chair’, which served as an inspiration is a chair designed for women of the Victorian era to make it easier to put on stockings and shoes. Unlike the 'slipper chair', the Sejour Lounge Chair requires a more versatile use. The soft round back and elegant frame create a balanced combination of comfort and style. Images courtesy of Gubi
