This fabulous high-end office space was designed by French design studio Hauvette & Madani. Part of a large glass-fronted office building in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, it sits right near the Champs-Elysées. The designers were given carte blanche for the project, and chose a pared-back style using natural materials and soft colours.
Their brief was to design a 4,000 square metre office space that combines the latest technologies with a contemporary style. In order to rise to that challenge, Samantha Hauvette and Lucas Madini brought in Louis Denavaut, a French interior designer with a similar sense of style. The project was named “Matignon Project”. The three French designers took their inspiration from residential projects to create a homely, hotel-like atmosphere in a working environment. In order to achieve this, they used natural materials such as natural stone, oak, leather, velvet and linen. The different shades of brown and beige add warmth and a touch of timelessness to the interior. Much of the furniture is designed by the interior architects themselves in collaboration with Cider and La Manufacture, two renowned furniture manufacturers in France.
The spaces are characterised by a relaxed atmosphere.
Matignon Project has a very modern, yet natural feel to it. Its spaces are characterised by a relaxed atmosphere. A far cry from the classic office space, which is often dominated by industrial style elements. With their unique approach, Hauvette, Madini and Denavaut managed to create an office space that is anything but typical, cold or business-like. Instead, its sense of class puts it in a league of its very own. Lucas Madani
