Residence De Blanke Top is currently in the final phase of completion by Versluys Bouwgroep. Our partner Diapal was involved in this exclusive project and took care of the fixed furniture and the total interior design of a spacious apartment.
De Blanke Top lies hidden in the dunes of Cadzand-Bad, a location specially chosen for a design that is in harmony with the landscape. Versluys has realised a total concept here with an image-defining residential complex, consisting of 34 spacious apartments. For this project, a partnership was formed with the neighbouring hotel, De Blanke Top, so that residents have access to an extensive range of hotel services. For example, they can enjoy room service, laundry service, access to the spa and wellness and fitness centre. 
Govaert & Vanhoutte Architects designed a modern and timeless architecture that is adapted to the dune landscape. Two separate buildings stand parallel to the sea. Each building has four interconnected apartments per floor, creating the opportunity to offer see-through apartments with a direct experience of sun and sea from one and the same living space. The interior has a high quality finish, with our partners RR Interieur and Diapal taking care of the loose and fixed furniture respectively.
The feeling of spaciousness is present everywhere in the room.
The kitchen has characteristic blinds on the living side of the kitchen island that ensure privacy, but the playful openings still allow a view of the magnificent views of the North Sea in the background. In addition, it also provides a subtle delineation of the kitchen from the dining area, without creating a heavy wall. The materials used for the kitchen are smoked oak veneer, combined with a natural stone. The floor, ceiling and windows of this project make the terrace an extension of the kitchen area, as it were, and bring in a huge amount of light and space. As a result, the feeling of spaciousness is present everywhere in the room. 
This project allows you to enjoy limitless leisure time in a stylish context. Diapal created an interior where you can't help but unwind and where the view is fully taken into account. We are already fans and look forward to future projects of the studio!
