Las Perelli is an interior design studio founded in 2010 by sisters Elena and Beatriz Perelli. It is a family project that came about after they had been active in the architectural world for 15 years. Today we take you to their project called La Coruña.
Las Perelli's portfolio includes palaces, hotels, restaurants, commercial spaces, residential flats and new builds. In recent years, however, they have specialised in country houses and historic buildings. Their design style is based on the use of natural materials and unique objects, respecting their different characteristics and using light as a key element. One of their most recent projects, La Coruña, is a house located in a village in Galicia, Spain. The idea of the project was to have more light, comfort and modernity. Thus, Las Perelli changed different materials but kept the old walls and ceilings in mind. They chose natural materials such as wood, linen, cotton, cashmere and wool. This, combined with carefully selected antique and modern furniture, completed the whole. Furthermore, the sisters made an important study of the lighting in order to make the project look as good and cosy as possible. Finally, they transformed the floor to bring more light into the whole project.
An old Galician farmhouse turns into a family home
In short, Las Perelli has transformed this old Galician farmhouse into a true family home. Sober but comfortable, with few rooms, simplicity and purity: a true refuge in the North. After many years of experience, the team of staff reflects excellence in their work. They share tastes, affinities and a particular sensitivity for the meaning of every detail. This time was no different, from the moment you enter the project you experience nothing but inner peace. What more could you ask for?
