The Mykonos I residence was completely custom reconstructed and renovated by Block 722. By using soft, light and natural tones in both the interior and exterior, the residence brings tranquillity to the beautiful surroundings. The beige of the plaster walls contrasts beautifully with the clear blue sea and sky. In the original house there were not many places to relax. That is why the architects added some nice corners and terraces to spend time outside. The guest house was also renovated and got a private swimming pool and breakfast area. At the main residence a large barbeque and dining area were provided to, typical of Greek culture, all come together for a delicious meal.

It is immediately clear that indoor and outdoor spaces merge into each other. A natural palette of materials and colours of wood, rattan, earthy colours, beige, white and brown dominates and brings serenity and refinement. This contrasts nicely with some pieces of glass and metal. Many of the furniture used was designed by Block 722. For other pieces, details and fabrics the architects worked together with Greek craftsmen.
