Projet Perronet is an interior design project by Martin Massé in Neuilly-sur-Seine. Massé has a distinct vision of interior design where ostentatious luxury no longer dominates. The soft colours and sculptural furniture make a unique flat in the centre of Paris.
Martin Massé graduated from the Ecole Spéciale d'Architecture with congratulations from the jury. After his studies, he starts working for Joseph Dirand, a renowned French architect who is still a great inspiration for Massé.
The walls and floors create a tranquil backdrop for a number of unique pieces of furniture that bring the space to life.
A few years later Massé started his own studio in Paris in 2017. He gets his inspiration from films and film sets. Parisian museums and Italy as a whole are also important sources of inspiration. Projet Perronet is a renovation of a hundred square meter apartment in Paris. The result is a cosy, stylish flat full of life. The walls and floors have neutral colours such as beige, wood colour, off-white and grey. They create a tranquil backdrop for a number of unique pieces of furniture that bring the space to life. Like the distinctive wall lighting that stands out without taking over the entire space. The interesting side tables also bring life into the flat without it losing its tranquillity. By placing built-in cupboards and other furniture, Massé knows how to create cosy corners in the spacious flat. For example, the built-in seat in the kitchen or the wall cupboard with a cut-out to store books or objects. In Parisian interiors the emphasis is often placed on luxurious materials and ostentatious finishing. Massé goes against this style by designing an original and cosy apartment that is not short on luxury.
