- Interior
Together with Swedish interior designer Lotta Agaton, Nordiska Kök designed a new concept kitchen for the House of Gärsnäs showroom. The result is a minimalistic kitchen in modest colours, which can be fully adapted to the client’s wishes.
The Scandinavian brand Nordiska Kök builds timeless kitchen in their own carpentry studio just outside Gotenburgh. Interesting to know is that all their kitchens are available in different colours and materials, as a result of which all clients get a fully personalised kitchen. Furthermore, the brand also has a mission, namely to change the kitchen industry. Contrary to many kitchen companies, Nordiska Kök works completely digitally. From the moment you want to be inspired until the final order: it all takes place digitally. In this way, the company manages to keep its personalised kitchens affordable.
All kitchens are available in different colours and materials.
This new kitchen fuses modern minimalism with the more classical aspects of House of Gärsnäs, a showroom that attracts architects from all over the world. The kitchen was designed by Lotta Agaton, who is known for her sober interiors and strongly believes in the positive impact of a well-curated space. The showroom kitchen consists of light-pigmented oak, which beautifully fits in with the rest of the serene interior. Oak together with the white tones form the common thread in this interior. A number of darker elements in the decoration, lamps and faucet break up that light colour pattern. Organic lines in the furniture and soft, light fabrics in the seats are combined with sleek, simple kitchen cabinets. Striking pendant lights above the dining table draw attention, in just the right amount. A soft white armchair offers the opportunity to take a rest after a long day. Finally, the right amount of decoration also makes this kitchen a model of cosiness. This is a kitchen where you can relax and enjoy simplicity. Classic shapes and attention to detail create a space that surprises time and time again.
