Justien Lescouhier brings us another beautiful renovation, in which an apartment received an optimal floor plan. A soft colour palette ensures a timeless atmosphere that provides the residents with complete relaxation. It is our pleasure to introduce you to all the assets of yet another successful project by this talented interior designer.
In a project by Lescouhier you automatically come to rest, and this design confirms it once again. Indeed, here you see an open living space with a thoughtful layout that can offer different functions. There are two focal points: the kitchen island and the adjacent dining table on the one hand, and the sofa on the other. Because functionality was an important keyword from the beginning, you quickly notice that the kitchen is easy to use. At the same time, the interior designer devised ways to hide as many appliances and items from view as possible, such as seamless slide-in cabinets and a streamlined layout. The countertop also extends throughout the kitchen, adding to the visual cohesion. In addition, there is direct contact with the seating area while cooking, making the design clearly social in nature. In the same space, there is opportunity for both eating and relaxing, clearly indicating an efficient design. Furthermore, only materials were used that feed the neutral tranquility and add lasting value.
The importance of a convenient layout repeatedly proves itself
The importance of a convenient layout proves itself repeatedly in the seating area, where harmony and functionality once again meet. Here our eye catches the multiple curved forms; the TV cabinet, sofa and side table all show off contours that are soft on the eye. As a colour detail, the interior designer incorporated green natural stone as a plinth. Another plus are the large windows, through which the living area maintains a continuous contact with the outdoor space. At the same time, there are also several details that call for your attention, such as the wall lighting and a floor lamp in minimal style. With an overall view of the whole, the effect of combining materials and textures comes into its own. For example, note the interplay of the stone for the kitchen, the floor and the fabrics of the sofa and carpet. The right details complete the atmosphere. With these visualisations, Justien Lescouhier makes us look forward to so much more. Her efficient layout of the floor plan results in a versatile design that maintains a lasting balance from beginning to end. We admire her ability to infuse spaces with her own style and will keep a close eye on her for the next success she unleashes on us.
