Designer brand Veermakers has released its first collection and Imagicasa is celebrating along with them! With their quality and timeless design, they managed to create exclusive furniture without making compromises. Their very first collection, composed by designer Louise Liljencrantz and the company KFK Cabinet-Makers, was launched at the exhibition of the Stockholm PR-office Grand Relations during the Stockholm Design Week 2021.
The brand name Veermakers is a play on words whereby 'veer' means ‘the other way round’. The designers not only want to change course but also to turn back the clock to a time when craftsmanship was truly appreciated. To create products that are the complete opposite of mass production and fast consumerism. Consequently, the entire collection will only be available in a few selected retailers around the world. In this way, it will not only be available to interior design projects, but also to consumers.
High-quality furniture with an expressive appearance.
Through a shared philosophy for sustainability and the production of unique furniture, lighting and design objects, the collaboration between Liljencrantz and KFK Cabinet-Makers was born. They had been working together on customised interiors for some time. With the Veermakers collection, they want to reflect the same feeling of craftsmanship but with a less complex production process. The designers focus on customers who make deliberate long-term choices and want to invest in furniture that will last for generations. At Stockholm Design Week 2021, these two partners launched their latest collaboration with a very first Veermakers collection. Veermakers stands for high-quality furniture and accessories that produces well-crafted products with a distinctive look. Each piece is designed and manufactured with a belief in quality, a use of honest materials and responsible production practices. At Imagicasa, we love to put this kind of design in the spotlight.
