- Interior
Changing the world through high quality conceptual architecture, that is the mission of Zrobym Architects. The Belarusian office listens to the client and always knows how to capture the right needs, wishes and dreams in a design that also uses the latest developments in architecture and design.
Based in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, Zrobym Architects has already realised several unique projects in architecture and interior design since the foundation of the office in 2011. They also developed their own furniture collection in 2017, called BY Furniture. The designs are inspired by the style of many European brands with a minimalist and contemporary touch, but by taking production into their own hands, they can add their own Belarusian culture.
A puzzle that the team of designers laid out perfectly
Originality is very important for Zrobym Archtects and we can see that in the specific project we show here. In Palm Apartment two elements play an important role: logic and elegance. With a relatively limited total area of 90 square metres, for example, no space was to be lost in the living room/kitchen, a master bedroom as well as a children's room had to be furnished, there would have to be two bathrooms and there would have to be sufficient storage space, which you can see in the separate dressing room and the laundry room. The team of architects and designers more than succeeded in making this puzzle work. The logical, optimal use of space also had to feel stylish and elegant. It is immediately clear that there is a unique atmosphere here, which is further enhanced by the soothing colour palette. The combination of simple, monochrome surfaces and more textured materials such as marble, wood and concrete makes it even more interesting. Some works of art show the owners' good eye for beautiful things and complete the rooms. A last important aspect in the design of this apartment is the lighting. The various lighting elements - some specially designed for this project - are not only functional, but respond to the volumes and materials and give this extra character. Seemingly small and simple interventions therefore have a great influence and interesting result.
We are big fans of the work of Zrobym Architects and hope to discover more of this kind of projects! Images courtesy of Zrobym Architects
