Fans of the work of architect and interior designer Kanstantsin Remez do not want to miss out on this. Recently, his ascetic minimalism found its way to a limited-edition book that bundles his most beautiful projects. Naturally, this piece should not be left out from your book collection if you, like Imagicasa, love to dream looking at his creations.
For Kanstantsin Remez, architecture is a language in which he can endlessly express himself through form, proportion and texture. Not a single detail of his designs escapes his attention and, in every case, organic relations between the components of the whole originate. In this way, he seamlessly connects the different surfaces and walls of a space to each other. Additionally, this was the inspiration for the cover of the book: by using double-layered paper, a typical look is created that is similar to the lightness and elegance of Remez's work. Inside, Munken Kristall paper is used. The book design was done by Comence Design Studio, while Pavel Emelyanov took care of the creative direction. The cover paper is Ibizenca Sand paper by Arjowiggins; its structure is reminiscent of concrete and is intended to echo the tactile nature of architectural materials.
In two hundred pages Remez takes you through his best projects.
In two hundred pages Remez takes you through his best projects. There are quite a few by now, and to reflect the variety among them, different versions of the cover are available. While the logo is always placed in the top right corner, the double-layered paper element has different proportions and is placed in alternating angles. As a result, the book cover has several versions that are still designed in a defined system. As for the content of the book, you only have to take a cursory glance at Remez's work to know that a compilation of his talent is more than worth having on your coffee table. With the help of editor Anna Beliaeva, the book became the perfect meeting of image and text. This collection of selected works by Kanstantsin Remez will undoubtedly end up on many a wish list. Those who would like to have a copy of this limited edition should not wait too long to give this inspiring book a place in their home.
